Can I bring my dog?
Yes! We are a dog-loving family and always appreciate when we can bring them while traveling. You are welcome to bring up to two dogs for an extra fee to cover additional insurance and cleaning.

No. Very few mountain houses have air conditioning because there is simply no need. In summer, daytime temperatures average the mid-70s and nights the low 50s. We recommend opening windows in the evenings and early mornings for a cool cross-breeze; the home is also equipped with fans.
Yes. Our home is a few blocks (about a 5-minute walk) from the Wellington/Royal Tiger Road stop on the Purple Route of the Breck Free Ride bus, offering direct access to the Gondola, Main Street, and other stops, as well as connections across Breckenridge and Summit County. Rideshare and local taxi services are also available in town.
Please contact us and we will take care of it together, determining whether it needs immediate attention or can wait. We also partner with a local company that is on call 24/7 for maintenance issues. Check out our Guidebook for more information.
We aim to provide a fully stocked house (kitchen appliances, baby gear, cooking essentials, games, and books) so you only need to purchase food and specialty items during your stay. Visit our Amenities page or contact us for more details. If there is an item we don’t have that future guests would likely appreciate, we may purchase it for the home prior to your stay.
Yes. The booking guest must be at least 25 years old. One adult over 25 is required for every four persons under 35 (families with children are allowed). If your group does not meet this requirement upon check-in, we reserve the right to deny check-in and the lodging fee will be forfeited.
No. We contract with local snow removal experts who plow the driveway and shovel outside common areas as needed (typically after 4 inches have accumulated over a 24-hour period). They usually visit in the early hours, so we recommend using the heated garage during snowstorms to keep the driveway clear for efficient plowing.
We have a two-bay heated garage plus space for 2–3 additional cars in the driveway. In winter, we recommend parking in the garage as much as possible to facilitate snow removal.
Yes. Breckenridge is a high alpine environment, and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required in the winter months (November through April). If traveling from Denver International Airport, monitor official sources for I-70 closures, updates, and advisories.
There is no shortage of things to do year-round. In addition to world-class skiing and outdoor activities, Breckenridge offers restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and popular events throughout the year. Local visitor resources provide excellent, up-to-date information on activities and events.
Breckenridge and the home sit at about 9,600 feet above sea level. Higher altitudes mean lower barometric pressure, thinner air, and less available oxygen, which can lead to varying degrees of altitude sickness for some people. The air is also drier and UV rays are stronger. Hydrate well, limit alcohol, take it easy the first day, use sunscreen, and consult your doctor if you have concerns.
We recommend At Your Breck and Call for specialty concierge services such as pre-stocked groceries, activity planning, package delivery, private chef services, and holiday decorating.
Average winter temperatures are in the mid-30s (colder at night) with very low humidity. Spring brings gradually warmer days, and the strong sun can make cold days feel warmer. Summer days average in the high 70s with cool 50-degree nights—perfect for a hot tub soak—and brief afternoon showers are common. Fall typically brings 50–60-degree days and 35–40-degree nights. Colorado weather fluctuates, so pack and dress in layers.
In town, we recommend City Market for standard groceries and City Liquors (next door) for alcohol. Whole Foods and Natural Grocers are located in nearby Frisco, Colorado.
